Hello, one and all! My name is Sean Levin, and I am a lifelong comic book fan. The heroes of the medium's Golden Age have always held a fascination for me. In particular, I have always been very interested in those heroes who have fallen into the public domain. Many of them have been revived by a wide variety of publishers over the decades, not only in comics, but prose fiction and even movies as well. This will be a weekly blog highlighting a different public domain Golden Age superhero, providing an overview of their appearances. Before I get started, I want to explain a few things. 1) I will not be making fun of these characters or stories. There are tons of websites making fun of old comics, and while some are amusing, many are just annoying. I'm going to try to remain objective in my posts. 2) I am only going to cover characters who had ten appearances or less. With characters like the Black Terror or Daredevil, there are too many appearances, not all of which are availab
